WHO CAN ENTER

Open to legal U.S. residents who are 18 or older at the time of entry. You must have a public Instagram or TikTok account for the entire contest period. Private accounts cannot be judged.

Not eligible: employees of Seoul Sweets and 2020 Hindsight Marketing, their immediate families and households, and anyone in a paid or content agreement with Seoul Sweets or 2020 Hindsight Marketing during the contest. Void where prohibited.

PRIZES

Ten (10) winners will be selected. Each winner receives a $500 Seoul Sweets gift card. Total prize value: $5,000.

Gift cards are redeemable at Seoul Sweets, 308 5th Ave, New York, NY. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Any taxes on a prize are the winner's responsibility.

HOW TO ENTER

1. Buy a ssal cake at Seoul Sweets, 308 5th Ave, New York, NY. Keep your receipt.

2. Take a photo, carousel, or video of your ssal cake. Make the cake the clear subject.

3. Post it to your Instagram feed or your TikTok. Stories, reposts, shares, and comments do not count.

4. Your post must include all four of these:

• The hashtag #SsalCake

• The hashtag #SeoulSweets5th

• A tag of @seoulsweetsnyc

• Our location tag: Seoul Sweet (308 5th Ave, New York)

5. Keep your post public through November 15, 2026.

You can enter once on Instagram and once on TikTok. Posting on both counts as two entries. You can still only win one prize.

If your post is missing anything above, you have 24 hours from when you posted to add it. After 24 hours, an incomplete post will not qualify.
Our team logs entries as they appear, so please make sure your post is complete and public the moment you post.

HOW WINNERS ARE CHOSEN

This is a skill-based contest. There is no random drawing. The Seoul Sweets team scores every qualifying entry out of 30 points across three equal categories:

- Creativity: originality of your concept and execution

- Presentation: visual quality, composition, lighting, and craft

- Product Showcase: how clearly and appealingly you feature the ssal cake

The ten highest-scoring entries win. If there is a tie for a winning spot, the tied entries are re-scored on Creativity, and the higher Creativity score wins. All judging decisions are final.

IF YOU WIN

Winners are contacted by direct message on the platform where the winning post was made, by November 2, 2026. To claim your prize, you must reply by November 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET with:

- Proof of purchase (your receipt or transaction record) for your entry

- Your full legal name and mailing address

If you do not respond by the deadline, cannot show proof of purchase, or are not eligible, your prize is forfeited and goes to the next highest-scoring entry.

USE OF YOUR CONTENT

By entering, you give Seoul Sweets and 2020 Hindsight Marketing permission to use, display, and share your entry and your handle on Seoul Sweets' own channels, including its website, social media, Google Business Profile, and in-store displays, with credit to your handle.

This does not include paid advertising. Using your content in a paid ad would require a separate agreement and separate payment.

You confirm your entry is your own original work, that you have the rights to it, and that anyone appearing in it has agreed to be included.

THE FINE PRINT

Entries must not contain anything unlawful, offensive, or hateful, must not put down another person or business, and must not name or compare to other businesses. Entries made with bots, fake accounts, or purchased engagement will be disqualified. Seoul Sweets may disqualify any entry at its discretion.

This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram, Meta, or TikTok. You are giving your information to Seoul Sweets, not to those platforms, and you release them from any responsibility for this contest.

By entering, you release Seoul Sweets and 2020 Hindsight Marketing from any claims or damages related to the contest or any prize. Your information is used only to run this contest and is not sold.
